3,000+ Partner Collection Sites · HHS/SAMHSA-Certified Laboratory Testing

Nebraska-based, with national reach

The collection site changes. Your program doesn't.

A driver based in Texas, a new hire in Colorado, a crew on a job site three states away: each one still needs a properly collected test, a Medical Review Officer (MRO) review, and a result that lands in your records. Diversified Safety & Compliance runs that program from Nebraska and uses a network of 3,000+ partner collection sites for people outside the area our own collectors cover.

Your DOT drug testing consortium, Clearinghouse queries, and driver files work the same in every state. One team answers your questions, Monday through Friday, 8–5 CT, and every result shows up in your employer portal.

Who it's for

Built for programs that cross state lines

Carriers with drivers in other states

A fleet with drivers based in several states runs one random pool, one set of records, and one invoice.

Multi-state employers

One results process and one set of records across every location, DOT and non-DOT, with policy terms adjusted where state law requires.

Staffing agencies and professional employer organizations (PEOs)

Pre-employment tests for placements wherever the client is.

Remote hires

A new hire tests near home before the first day, and you see the result in the same portal as everyone else's.

How it works

A test outside our mobile area, step by step

  1. 1

    Tell us who and where

Send us the person, the reason for the test, and the city or ZIP code.

  2. 2

We send them to a nearby site

We direct the employee to the nearest partner collection site with the authorization they need.

  3. 3

    Lab and MRO review

The specimen goes to a laboratory certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through its Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and an MRO reviews any non-negative result before it's reported.

  4. 4

The result comes back to us

Negative lab results typically come back in 24–48 hours and show in your employer portal next to every other result.

Multi-state testing questions

Can my drivers test outside Nebraska?

Yes. Drivers outside the area our own collectors cover test at one of 3,000+ partner collection sites, and the result comes back to us and into your records. You don't need a separate testing provider in each state, and your random selections, results, and records stay in one place.

Is a test at a partner site the same as one at your clinic?

For DOT tests, yes: every collection follows the same federal procedure (49 CFR Part 40), goes to an HHS/SAMHSA-certified lab, and gets MRO review. The difference is price. A lab drug test is $95 at a partner site and $75 at our Lincoln, Beatrice, and West Omaha clinics.

Can I join your consortium if my company isn't in Nebraska?

Yes. Our DOT drug testing consortium isn't tied to a location. Membership is $129 a year per company, wherever you're based. Selected drivers test at a partner site near them, or with our own collectors if they're in Nebraska or Kansas, and every result comes back to the same records.

What happens after an accident in another state?

Call (402) 252-5144 any hour. We'll help your Designated Employer Representative (DER) decide whether a DOT test is required and find the nearest open collection site. Some areas have few sites open overnight, so call as soon as you know a test may be needed. Alcohol testing has an 8-hour limit and drug testing 32 hours (49 CFR 382.303).

Do you send your own collectors out of state?

Our own collectors work across Nebraska and Kansas. Outside those states, drivers and employees test at one of our partner collection sites, with the same procedure and the same records. For professional sports organizations, we have traveled out of state to test on-site, quoted per event.

Do you run non-DOT testing in other states?

Yes. Partner sites collect under your written policy, with lab confirmation and MRO review of any non-negative result. State workplace drug-testing laws differ, so have your employment counsel review your policy for each state where you test. Our customers get a free non-DOT policy template.
