About this event

What to expect.

The U.S. Custom Harvesters, Inc. (USCHI) Annual Convention brings custom harvest crews and the companies that serve them together for three days of speakers, clinics, state meetings, a live auction, and a trade show that USCHI says covers more than 150,000 square feet. The 2027 convention runs Thursday through Saturday, January 28–30, 2027, at the CHI Health Center, 455 N 10th St, Omaha, Nebraska.

USCHI organizes the convention, sets the agenda, and handles registration. The convention is private: it is open to USCHI harvester and associate members and the guests they register. Diversified Safety & Compliance is a registered vendor in the trade show. We are not presenting any of the sessions below. This page summarizes USCHI's published tentative agenda so you can plan your days, and tells you where to find us.

The convention at a glance

  • Wednesday, January 27: pre-registration from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Grand Hall. Harvester members also have an H-2A program session and CLAAS factory tours.

The trade show opens at 10 a.m., followed by combine classroom clinics and forage and manure applicator walkarounds. Dinner and entertainment from Whiskey River close the day.
  • Friday, January 29: state meetings in the morning, a full day of trade show, combine walkarounds, a manure and forage clinic, a failure analysis session with Jim Dettore and Gregg Haas, and the evening live auction with Steffes Group.
  • Saturday, January 30: harvester open forums, the last morning of the trade show, the Harvesters' Business Meeting, and the Scholarship and Hall of Fame awards banquet.

Trade show hours

The trade show is open Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon. USCHI sets aside trade-show-only time with no competing sessions: Thursday 10:30 a.m. to noon, Friday 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., and Saturday 10:20 a.m. to noon. Those windows are the easiest time to stop by and talk.

Find Diversified in the exhibit hall

Derek Aude, our founder and CEO, will be at our exhibit while the trade show is open. Diversified is Nebraska-based, with our own collectors across Nebraska and Kansas and 3,000+ partner collection sites nationwide for drug and alcohol testing, which helps when your crew is working fields several states from home. Bring your questions about:

  • DOT drug and alcohol testing and random consortium administration for crews with CDL drivers
  • Pre-employment testing for seasonal hires, including drivers who join partway through the run
  • DOT physicals at our Lincoln and Beatrice clinics
  • Driver qualification files (DQF), MVRs, and medical card expirations
  • FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse queries, run by our team
  • Post-accident response, with our 24/7 line at (402) 252-5144
