About this event

What to expect.

Kutak Rock LLP's 19th Annual Employment Law Seminar, titled Employment Law's Greatest Hits, is a full-day, in-person program for HR professionals, in-house counsel, and business leaders. It runs Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Central at the Scott Conference Center, 6450 Pine St, Omaha, Nebraska.

Kutak Rock organizes the seminar, sets the agenda, and handles registration. Kutak Rock attorneys present every session. Diversified Safety & Compliance is attending, not presenting. This page summarizes Kutak Rock's published agenda so you can plan your day.

The seminar at a glance

  • Morning: OSHA enforcement priorities for 2026, how courts treat AI prompts and outputs as evidence, hiring and onboarding issues, workplace trends, and immigration enforcement and visa changes heading into 2027.
  • Afternoon: an hour on workplace investigations with a mock investigation, executive employment issues, protected concerted activity under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), and employee benefits. The seminar adjourns at 3:30 p.m.

Kutak Rock is applying for CLE (including ethics), HRCI, and SHRM credit in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Washington. Approval is pending, so confirm credit details with Kutak Rock.

Where these topics meet our work

Diversified does not give legal advice. Take the legal questions these sessions raise to your employment counsel. Several sessions do touch work employers often hand to an occupational health and testing provider:

  • OSHA respirator rules: a medical evaluation before fit testing, and a fit test before first use and at least annually (29 CFR 1910.134). We run respirator medical evaluations and fit testing on-site or at our Lincoln clinic.
  • OSHA hearing conservation: a program is required at 85 dBA (8-hour TWA), with baseline and annual audiograms (29 CFR 1910.95). We test at our Lincoln clinic or on-site.
  • Hiring and onboarding: post-offer functional screening matched to the job, and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing run to your policy. You set the policy; we handle the testing.

For questions about testing or occupational health, call (402) 252-5144 or email [email protected].
